Oh No! What has happened to Salty?

Was he in a horrible accident?  Did he break his back?  Is he lost to us forever?  Oh pooh, he is just sleeping……  Twisted kitty even in his sleep!

Cat's will sleep in the most unusual postitions and it will appear, as it does here, that they have broken their back or something.  Don't be alarmed, cats can twist themselves completely in half to clean themselves so sleeping in awkward positions is nothing to them.  Of course, if they seem to be in pain or are not breathing well, you should call your vet immediately.
