Did you ever notice your cat (or a cat) looking straight up? They might have been inside, in which case they were looking at the ceiling. They might have been outside in which case they were looking at the sky. But what are they looking at?
I look up and see.....nothing! There are no birds outside and no bugs or moving objects inside. So what are those darn cats looking at? Are they seeing things that we don't see? Or are they being silly to see what we will do?
I often see my cats looking up at the ceiling for a long time and finally I look up to see what they are looking at and I see....nothing...and the cat then smiles at me and runs off. I picture the following scene during those times:
Cat 1: Hey, watch this, I'm gonna get them to all look up again.
Cat 2: I'll hide so they don't see me, hehe, make it obvious.
Human: What ever are you looking at Poopsie?
Cat 2: Hehe, don't stop looking, hehe.
Cat 1: I won't.
Human: Poopsie, there's nothing up there. I swear there is nothing up there. Darling, will you come here and see if you can see anything?
Cat 1: Hehe, I'm gonna get them both!
Cat 2: Now it's my turn--as he sits next to cat 1 and looks up.
Humans: There is absolutly nothing up there. I don't see a thing. What are you two looking at?
Cat 1 (racing away): We did it, hehehe!
Cat 2 (racing away): Yeah, those humans are so stupid, hehe!
I firmly believe that would be what they would say. I know they are doing it, or else why would they just LOOK AT THE CEILING?!?!
