The 'Cat Kingdom' are at it again, Ladies and Gentlemen

Today, it was announced that the Cat Kingdom will have its annual "Race for the Stars" event and we have the unique opportunity to have exclusive publishing rights of the story.  The race will begin on March 30 (or thereabouts) depending upon whether the participants are cat napping or eating their cat nip prior to the race date.  Each contestant is finely honed and truly ready to take on the world in this competition!  Look at those physiques, Ladies and Gentlemen, well maybe they could stand a little exercise, but look at those eyes!  Those are the eyes of champions!  I think....  Anyway, here are the contestants as they stand:  Yellow, bright-eyed, reigning champ--Tiger the Bull--cause he bullies his way into everything; next up, black, yellow-eyed, slim & trim (in his eyes), made honorable mention last year--Cocoa the Brave--cause he braves the cold stone to take his nap; Yellow/white with a nose of pink, eyes filled with mass destruction--Mittens the Brave, wait, he can't be brave, Cocoa is brave, oh yes, it's Mittens the Cute--cause he is so cute-look at those cute little (oops, sorry about that); next on the agenda is Gray-furred, tall as a child's stool, not so slim as he'd like--Dusty the Dirty--named because he is always cleaning himself; and last, but certainly not least comes the favorite of the crowd, Salty!  Salty has been the favored for several years now because he is so charming, however, he has never won the race, in fact he is usually last!  Well, there they are, the contestants for this all important race.  Stay tuned for our next update where we will interview one of the candidates live.  So long for now and hope to see you for the race!
