The contenders are:
 |
Tiger |
Tiger, the biggest (weighing in at 18 pounds) which may slow
him down or perhaps allow him to dominate the field (literally).
NEXT
 |
Cocoa |
Cocoa, he’s the next largest (weighing in at 16 pounds),
that makes him a close second in size, wonder if that will slow him down any
NEXT
 |
Mittens |
Mittens, he’s the smallest contender we have (weighing in at
13 pounds), will his being Tiger’s brother make a difference in this race?
 |
Salty |
LASTLY
Salty, his midsized 14 pounds may give him an edge during
the race, we’ll have to see how he stacks up to the others.
And their off!
Mittens is in the lead, dashing out just as the bell
rang.
Cocoa is a close second, racing at
Mittens’ left.
Salty is next nearly
touching Mittens’ tail and Tiger is taking the tale end of the pack, his start
slow and sluggish.
Around the first bend, Cocoa takes the lead from Mittens’
who seems to have lost his initial burst of energy.
Salty is neck and neck with Mittens now and
Tiger is still in the rear, but he seems to be moving closer to the pack.
Second bend, Cocoa is way out in front with Salty right on
his tail.
Mittens seems to be gaining on
the outside and Tiger is nearly even with Mittens.
What a race ladies and gentlemen.
Third bend, Tiger is catching up fast.
He’s neck and neck with Salty now.
Cocoa still leads the pack with Mittens second
by a nose.
One more bend folks, what a
race.
The final turn.
Cocoa
is barely holding the lead, Tiger and Mittens share second and Salty is in the
rear, but he seems to have caught a second wind and is closing with the pack.
The finish line, ladies and gentlemen, you are not going to
believe this, but we have a four-way tie.
All four contenders crossed the finish line at the same time.
Oh, wait, the officials are checking the
video--
IT’S OFFICIAL! We have a four-way tie.
What a race folks, what a day.
Stay tuned.
The next race will be coming your way soon.
