Yesterday was the best day ever!

The entire family of human pets left the house and were gone for hours.  The cats could run, jump, climb, lie on, and play with anything they wanted for hours without getting shooed away or yelled at by the pets.  It was wonderful!  The entire household was up and away getting into everything that they are not usually allowed to get into when pets are around.  They had a ball and, just as the pets returned home, the cats abandoned their fun and took a well deserved nap.  What a day!

Cat owners beware--cats will get into things that are forbidden when you are not around to stop them.  Be sure to cover, close, block off, or otherwise put away items that they shouldn't be playing with to prevent injuries.  If you cannot put the item away, try putting the cats in a separate room until you come home.  This is for more than your peace of mind, if your cats get into things and swallow something--like a sewing needle--it could kill them.  Keep your cats safe and sound while you are gone.
