Jealousy abounds!

There is a new contender in the house, folks, and the regular participants are furious.  A ringer, young, strong, well-trained and confident joins the Cat Household Team and is raring to go.  The race, run with the young-one, is a shoe-in and the contenders are quickly plotting the newbie’s doom.  Late that night they snuck up to where she lay sleeping and tossed a large towel over her; then they rolled her, and rolled her, and rolled her; then they stepped back laughing at the tightly caught kitten who looked up at them with questioning eyes.  Then they melted because she was just so very cute and cuddly.  They decided they would ‘let’ her win for a few races and then they would slowly show her who was boss.  She crawled out of the towel and smiled up at them with knowing eyes.  Rotten kitten!
